      "Production Tax Credit" expiration; bad for wind and storage
      The PTC is presently scheduled to expire on December 31, 2013.  Eligible wind energy projects put into service before that date will be entitled to a ten year tax credit, currently 2.2¢, for each kilowatt hour of electricity they produce.  Projects put into service after that date will not be eligible for the credit.
