      RES To Construct 40MW Energy Storage Project for IPP in California

      Broomfield, CO – Renewable Energy Systems (RES), a leader in energy storage integration, is pleased to announce an agreement with an independent power producer to build a 40 MW RESolve® Energy Storage System (ESS). The system will be located in California. RES was awarded the project through a competitive RFP process and will be providing a full turnkey energy storage system powered by RES’ proprietary Energy Management System (EMS). RES’ agreement provides engineering, procurement, and construction services, along with asset management and performance guarantees. Construction will begin this summer with an expected commercial operation date of Q1 2018.

      Broomfield, Colo. – Renewable Energy Systems (RES), a leader in the development, engineering, and construction of wind, solar, transmission, and energy storage projects in the Americas, is pleased to announce the start of construction on EDP Renewables North America’s (EDPR NA) Redbed Plains Wind Farm in Grady County, Oklahoma, just southwest of Oklahoma City. Redbed Plains Wind Farm will have a capacity of 99.1 MW and consist of 48 Siemens Gamesa turbines. An interconnection agreement for the project has been finalized with American Electric Power (AEP). Nearly 250 jobs will be created during the peak of construction.
