      RES Commissions 20-MW Battery in Scotland

      UK-based renewables developer Renewable Energy Systems (RES) today announced the official opening of Scotland's first utility-scale battery facility, the 20-MW Broxburn Energy Storage project in West Lothian. The battery was built and will be managed by RES. It is owned by the Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd (LON:TRIG), marking the company's first investment in battery storage.
