    SRP negotiating for power from two big battery projects

    Salt River Project's elected board of directors on Monday approved the purchase of power from two large battery projects, one of which includes a 20-megawatt solar power plant. The board approved the deals, but the agreements have not been signed yet, so SRP only is releasing limited information on the projects. Details such as the locations will be released if and when the public utility signs agreements with the project developers, SRP spokesman Scott Harelson said.
