    Developer Files Storage, Solar Power Project Application with FERC

    Green Energy Storage Corp. filed for a preliminary permit for the proposed Sacaton Pumped-Storage Project in Arizona, which would include hydroelectric and solar power. Green Energy filed for the permit on Monday through the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The permit would allow the company to maintain an application for a license under Part I of the Federal Power Act, while obtaining the data and feasibility of the project. The project will consist of a 150-MW closed-loop pumped storage facility and a 100-MW solar power plant.
