    DoD Examines 200K Plug-In Electric Vehicles With Grid Storage
    The DOD is at the genesis of large-scale integration of plug-in electric vehicles into its non-tactical ground fleet. Medium duty trucks, which are currently the largest fuel consumer in the DOD non-tactical fleet, are a top target for this integration. On June 16 the DOD released a request for information to engage stakeholders in a to achieve "total cost of ownership parity" -- in other words, a budget-neutral program.
